Hi, I am Rajesh Gautam,  have various given names (Gautam, RG, Rajesh, Raj) I am technologist by profession but from heart I am a musician, cook and handyman. I started my professional career with Kodak and was lucky enough to get the global exposure through them, visited various countries in Europe and America. Eventually Migrated to USA in 1997 and started with Verizon (Nynex at that time) in NY. Developed and had been architect on various software business applications. I have few patents pending and hope they will get through. 

In 2002 decided to be my own boss (except at home) and started TechIcon. TechIcon today is a multimillion dollars company and had been ranked as fastest growing company numerous times. In 2004 I started another company called Oskar Properties LLC, a real estate investment company; company has so far done very well. 2004-2006, when everyone was trying all kind of web ideas, I was in the race, launched YouPostDeals.com, failed miserably; company did not make any profit. I was completely convinced about this great idea but what really mattered, what others thought about it. No probs, I understood!!

 I like exploring new ideas, love to travel, cooking and music is all around. I love and used to buy most of the new gadgets but I lost that privilege when I forcefully convinced my wife to buy a camcorder with night vision feature and which I told her, would use for capturing wild life during camping. That feature was never used so I have to prove any gadget that I buy can be used by kids as well. Didn’t we just learn that IPAD is really easy and good for kids….yeah we need one for them…

In my eyes, best places on earth:  Paprola, a tiny town on foothills of Himalayas in India, where I was raised and I still have my roots there.  NIT Silchar, One of the best college during that era and even better now, I wish if there had been a time machine, I would go back and enjoy those moments again. Last but not the least, Chalfont, USA, where we settled down, raising our kids and enjoying every moment with them.
